One UI 5.1 available for Galaxy Tab S7 FE and Tab A8

Samsung is undoubtedly one of the best companies in terms of pushing new updates; the Korean giant has done commendable work in expanding the One UI 5.1 update for its eligible devices, the company has joined almost all of the devices to the latest UI update, but having a large number of devices, still, there are many devices left.

Notably, the Korean giant is now rolling out the One UI 5.1 update for tablets, including Galaxy Tab S7 FE and Galaxy Tab A8. Both of the devices are receiving updates in different countries. The Galaxy Tab S7FE is getting the update in some European countries, while the Galaxy Tab A8 is grabbing the same update in South Korea.

The 5G variant of Galaxy Tab S7 FE is getting the One UI 5.1 update with firmware version number T736BXXU2CWC5; it also includes February 2023 security update. In South Korea, the Galaxy Tab A8 is receiving the latest update with firmware version number X200XXU2CWC1; it doesn’t feature any new security patch and is still using the three-month older patch as of January 2023. 

One UI 5.1 update will enhance the multitasking on the Galaxy Tabs 

The devices (Galaxy Tab S7 FE and Galaxy Tab A8) belong to Tablet segments, so they both feature a large screen. The large screen devices always prefer multitasking. So Samsung has also introduced some new features and changes with One UI 5.1 that will enhance multitasking in these tablets. According to the changelog, some significant changes have been made, like now you can easily minimize or maximize the window. When you start a split-screen view, the apps that you often use will be shown below your recently used apps to help you find them apps faster. After installing the latest update, you can drag the divider in the center of the screen to resize both windows.

Samsung updates unlocked Galaxy S22, Flip4, Fold3, and Flip3 to the April 2024 security patch in the US

In the last few days, Samsung has expanded the April 2024 security patch update to many Galaxy devices, but, due to the carrier network limitation, the update has reached only the locked variants of the devices. Fortunately, some unlocked Galaxy devices also received a new update.

Notably, Samsung has rolled out the April 2024 security patch to multiple unlocked Galaxy devices, such as the Galaxy S22, Galaxy Z Flip 4, Galaxy Z Fold 3, and Galaxy Z Flip 3. Users who own the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra can identify the update by the firmware version numbers S901U1UES4DXD1, S906U1UES4DXD1, and S908U1UES4DXD1 sequentially. The Galaxy Z Flip 4 is getting an update with the firmware version number F721U1UES4EXD1.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 are getting new updates with the firmware version numbers F926U1UES5HXD1 and F711U1UES6HXD1, respectively. If you are using any of the mentioned devices, you should start getting notifications about the update.

According to the official documentation, the April 2024 security patch could bring more than 40 fixes. In detail, Google has added 27 fixes, and along with this, there are 17 more fixes that are included by Samsung, which exclusively provides support for Galaxy devices.

Moreover, the latest update may also provide some extra improvements and stability by changing the internal functions of the devices. But as far as its significance, the user will not get any important changes for the device. In case you are facing any issues while using any function, you should also update your device to the latest version, as it may also fix them.

Galaxy A34 Gains April 2024 security update in Europe

After introducing the April 2024 security patch update to many high-end Galaxy devices belonging to the Galaxy Z and S series, Samsung has now turned its focus towards the A series devices. In the latest development, it has started rolling out the update for the Galaxy A34 devices.

Initially, Samsung distributed the April 2024 security patch to the European units of the Galaxy A34 devices, carrying the firmware version number A346BXXS6BXD1. In the coming days, we anticipate the company to extend the update to additional units.

For your information, the April 2024 security patch is one of the standard security patches that doesn’t bring any new features but will provide some security-related enhancements that will improve the overall performance and stability of the devices.

According to the official documentation, the April 2024 update brings more than 40 fixes, and Google has added 27 fixes that address the issues found in the Android OS. Meanwhile, there are 17 more fixes added by Samsung that address the issues found in Galaxy devices exclusively.

Samsung has already served the April 2024 security patch for the Galaxy A53 devices, but it was limited to the USA. Now, with the expansion, the device has started getting the same update in Europe. 

The Galaxy A53 is getting an April 2024 security patch update in Europe, carrying the firmware version number A536BXXS9DXD1. It is coming in a 242.54 MB software package. The update is currently spotted in some regions, and in the coming days, it will be available to all units in the next few days.

The April 2024 update provides the latest security patch that provides a bunch of security enhancements that assure that your Galaxy device will be protected against several external threats that can be dangerous. So if you are conscious of your data, it is mandatory to keep the device up-to-date.
