Samsung recently delivered a major software update to Galaxy Buds 2 Pro. Unfortunately, the upgrade turned into a tragedy, as owners of Buds 2 Pro are facing regular connectivity issues after upgrading.

Samsung has rolled out the update, which arrived with an identification firmware R510XXU0AXB4.” Now, after installing the new update, users are facing trouble connecting their Galaxy Buds 2 Pro, due to which their earbuds automatically disconnect after 15-20 minutes of use.

This is being speculated by the reports of Galaxy Buds 2 Pro owner, who claimed about this issue on Reddit. Although the one who reported is not the only one going through this issue, multiple Galaxy Buds 2 Pro users are also facing this issue.

Here’s the question: What happens after upgrading the recent update with version number R510XXU0AXB4?

After installing the update to Galaxy Earbuds 2 Pro with the mentioned version number, the owners of the buds experienced a kind of inconvenience—they are facing a connectivity issue. Their earbuds automatically disconnect unexpectedly after 15-20 minutes, and they do not even reconnect unless connected manually.

The users have noticed that this issue occurs only when the earbuds and the charging case have sufficient battery breathing. Some users have suggested resetting the earbuds as a solution, which temporarily fixes the issue. At the time, Samsung had not acknowledged the issue officially yet. Still, it is expected that soon, the brand will recognize and address this issue to enhance the user’s experience at their convenience.

Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro users upgraded their Buds with the latest update, which brings the awaited features, one of which is Auto Switch to move between devices smoothly, as well as features like Auracast capabilities.

As of last month’s announcement, the new update is said to bring a few features, such as Live Translations features, Auto Switch capabilities, and expanded Auracast functionality.

This new Galaxy Buds 2 Pro update is somewhere pointing out that the AI upgrade is close to reach. As per the changelog, the Auto Switch is the first feature to hit the market. It particularly notes the feature that the Korean giants mentioned in their update announcement and states that “operations for connectivity with PCs and usability have been improved.”

Earlier today, Samsung put out a new software update for the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro in Europe and India. The firmware version is labeled as R510XXUOAXB4 and is about 6.01 megabytes to download. This update brings in the Buds Auto Switch feature, which lets the earbuds connect automatically to Galaxy laptops and PCs. The update is designed to operate seamlessly with the Galaxy Book 3 and Galaxy Book 4 series laptops.

Basically, Auto Switch is an Android tool that is only available for the Pixel Buds yet. It just permits the users to connect to the device so that it smoothly switches the connectivity based on whichever device is receiving a call. Beyond the question, it is an excellent feature that works automatically.

The update mentioned Auracast, though it’s unclear whether the brand will offer the TV functionality mentioned or if it just improves stability. Although the update does not mention Samsung’s interpreter tool in any way, which points to Samsung, It is appealing that Samsung will expand the entirety of what it promised, even including the interpreter mode and Auracast with TVs.

Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro Are Expected To Launch This Year

Back in the final stage of 2023, it was already revealed that, as the successor of the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro, Samsung will launch the next generation of Galaxy Buds in 2024. But now it appears that the brand is also gearing up for a sequel to the non-Pro Galaxy Buds 2.

The Korean giants are expected to announce the Galaxy Buds 3 and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro this year. Since these are the next generation of buds, they should arrive with brand new features, decent design, and more.

Tipster, leaks, and rumors always did their jobs well for increasing the enthusiasm among fans by revealing the specs, features, and design details of the forthcoming gadgets. So it is expected that as time passes, dozens of pieces of information regarding the new wireless earbuds will appear online even before their official launch.

Some of the details will arrive through the certifications the Korean giants will need to start selling the Buds 3 and Buds 3 Pro on the market, but sad to relate, the recent certification for the battery that will power the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro charging case does not reveal anything useful.

A couple of days ago, the battery was initially certified, but now the Safety Korea website has added a picture of the battery. It appears that the battery is nearly 1 millimeter taller and wider as compared to the battery inside the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro case; however, at the moment, it’s not worth saying the battery will be thicker. Bearing in mind the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro charging case already got a huge bump in capacity over the case for the actual Galaxy Buds Pro, complaining regarding the no change for the Buds 3 Pro will not work.
