Carrier-locked Galaxy A51 gets One UI 5.1 update in the USA
Samsung has pushed the One UI 5.1 update for the locked variant of Galaxy A51 in the US. It is also worth noticing that the update was already available for the European and some US carriers a few weeks ago and gradually expanded to other countries as well.
Currently, the update is rolling out for the carrier-locked variant of Galaxy A51. The update is now available on the Verizon network, and it is the first network which has released the One UI 5.1 update for the LTE variant of the device. The 5G variant of Galaxy A51 has already received the update in several networks, including MetroPCS, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon, Spectrum, Comcast, and AT&T.
The latest update comes with version number A515USQU9FWD3; it also includes the new security update in the form of February 2023, which fixes security vulnerabilities present in the Galaxy devices.
One UI 5.1 update brings new enhancements to the Galaxy A51
The One UI 5.1 update is the latest skin upgrade of Samsung. It brings some new enhancements to some system-level apps, including Camera, Multitasking, Gallery, wallpaper, and AR Zone. Galaxy A51 is a budget-friendly device which was launched back in 2019. The device came with Android 10. Samsung has listed this device in the three Android update categories, and the device has successfully grabbed all of them. With the One UI 5.1 update, the device is no more eligible to receive any further major update. However, it still gets some new minor updates(security updates) in the future.
