May 2023 security update landed to the Galaxy A52 5G and Galaxy A52s in Europe

The May 2023 security update is the third update of the year that doesn’t come with any innovations, While the other two security update, like February and April, includes some new features. The February 2023 security update came with One UI 5.1 features, and the April update a distributor of image clipper function. The latest security update comes in the form of a May 2023 patch that is distributed to many Galaxy devices and still expanding. Currently, the company is rolling out the update to one more Galaxy device, i.e., Galaxy A52 5G. 

The latest update is rolling out in Europe. Users who own Galaxy A52 5G and Galaxy A52s 5G can easily identify the latest update by the firmware version number A526BXXS3EWD6 and A528BXXU3EWE1, respectively. The update includes over 70 fixes that enhance the security of devices. Earlier, Galaxy A52 5G had already got the update in the US for locked variants.

Samsung launched the Galaxy A52 5G and Galaxy A52s back in 2021. The device came with Android 11. Later, both of the devices received two more Android, and currently, it is running on Android 13. Samsung is promised to give at least 3-year updates to the midrange device, so it is expected that Galaxy A52 5G and Galaxy A52s 5G could have one more Android update in the coming days as Android 14
