Samsung is preparing to launch the Galaxy F55 5G smartphone; however, the company hasn’t confirmed it, but several rumors circulating on the internet indicate that the company will soon debut the new device in the Galaxy F series lineup.

Ahead of the launch, some details started emerging on the internet. 91Mobiles has spotted the Galaxy F55 5G smartphone in the Google Play console database.

The Google Console database confirms that the Galaxy F55 5G smartphone will be a rebranded version of the recently launched Galaxy M55 5G device in India and other regions. The upcoming Galaxy F series smartphone will be equipped with the Qualcomm chipset with the SM 7450 codename, which means the device will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC.

The Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC is fabricated on a 4nm process and brings four Kryo 770 cores clocked at 2.4 GHz, four Kryo 770 cores at 1.8 GHz, and an Adreno 644 GPU. Along with this, the database also confirms that the smartphone will be available with 8GB of RAM and come with Android 14 out of the box. Further, it also shares details about the display, which will have a 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution.

Meanwhile, if we talk about the other expected features, as per the reports, the device will be equipped with a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and 1000 nits of peak brightness. The device will be equipped with a triple camera setup, a 50 MP primary camera with OIS, an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2 MP macro camera. It may include a 32 MP front camera for selfies. It is equipped with a massive battery of 5000 mAh with 45 W fast charging.
