Galaxy A32 5G and Galaxy A70 get May 2023 security update in Canada

Samsung has constantly released new updates for its eligible devices. The company has now started rolling out the June 2023 security update, but due to the updated policy, some Galaxy devices are getting one-month older updates in the form of a May 2023 security patch, such as Galaxy A32 5G and Galaxy A70. 

The May 2023 security update is now rolling out in Canada. The Galaxy A70 and Galaxy A32 5G are getting the update with version numbers A705WVLS6DWE1 and A326WVLSADWE3, respectively. 

The May 2023 security update brings several patches that fix several functionalities of Galaxy devices; for your info, 70+ security patches target the Android OS. As the update also includes Samsung’s exclusive patches, it improves several internal functions of Galaxy devices, including ActivityManagerService, ThemeManager, GearManagerStub, Knox Enrollment Service, and many more.

The Galaxy A70 is a very old device; it was launched back in 2019, the device came wight Android 9, and according to promise, Samsung has rolled out two more updates, so the device has got Android 11. After then, it stopped getting major updates, but on the other hand, it still got new updates in the form of security updates. The Galaxy A70 is now eligible for two software updates per year, and it is expected that coming is the last year for this device.

While Galaxy A32 5G was in 2021, the device debuted in the market at a very affordable price. The device offers many useful features at a very low cost. Samsung packed the device with Android 11, and later the company introduced some more software updates, there for the device is now running on Android 13-based One UI 5.1. The affordable devices, there are very few chances that the device will get and new Android update, but it will continue to receive new security updates.
