Galaxy Tab S9 geared up for release in next month clears by FCC

Samsung has released an official statement that it will organize and host the Galaxy Unpacked Event that is about to be held in South Korea in the coming month. This news has created excitement about the new models that will be showcased at this event. But there has been no official and approved list of models that will be unveiled at the event from Samsung’s side. Till now, it is said that Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 will be unveiled along with the company’s next-generation high-end tablets.

As a successor to the potent Galaxy Tab S8 range, which is now to be among the best Android tablets on the market, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 series is anticipated to make its debut this year. A good amount of information on the forthcoming flagship tablet trio has already surfaced, including detailed renderings of the Galaxy Tab S9+ and Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra taken one month apart, giving us some context for potential design differences between the 2022 and 2023 models.

The Galaxy Tab S9+(SM-X810) and Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra(SM-X910) have recently appeared before the FCC for standard certification procedures, indicating a soon-to-be-released product. It’s important to note that the whole FCC certification website isn’t currently active, maybe for reasons like confidentiality.

Models SM-X816B, SM-X810, and SM-X816 will be assigned to the Galaxy Tab S9+, while SM-X916BM, SM-X910, and SM-X916N will be assigned to the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra. For each, the first is a 5G- capable device, the second is a WiFi-only model intended for use worldwide, and the third is a model designed particularly for the South Korean market. The S9+ and S9 Ultra may potentially come with a charger that supports 10V/4.5A or 45W, fast charging according to the same certification.

Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra battery and processor information tipped

The leaker discovered that the Galaxy Tab S9+ model numbered SM-X810 features a Settings page that resembles its predecessor quite a bit. Although the manufacturer may reveal the Galaxy Tab S9 series during the Galaxy Unpacked event scheduled for late July, this FCC certification leak doesn’t provide the exact launch date.
