Galaxy Note 10 Lite getting latest June 2023 security update
Samsung is responsibly rolling out new security updates for the Galaxy Note 10 device, as it promised. However, the device has already lost its eligibility for major updates. Now with the latest update, the Galaxy Note 10 Lite is getting a new security support update in the form of a June 2023 security patch.
The latest update for Galaxy Note 10 Lite is now available in Europe. Initially, the update is rolling out in France with version number N770FXXU9HWE1. It is expected that the update will be available all over Europe.
The June 2023 security update is the latest security patch which includes over 60 fixes related to security vulnerabilities; additionally, it also includes some further improvements which enhance the functionality of the devices.
Notably, the update has resolved several vulnerabilities found in Samsung smartphones and tablets related to the CC Mode, Head out of bound write in Exynos baseband, and Knox ID validation in the notification framework.
The Galaxy Note 10 Lite is one of the oldest flagship devices which is still getting new security updates; the device was introduced back in 2020, the device is currently running on Android 13 based One UI 5.1, which is the last major update for the device; however, it will still get security updates at least for next one more year.
