Samsung is all set to introduce its fifth-generation foldable this year; we are just a month away from it; the company will unveil these devices in the dedicated unpacked event. But before the official debut, all the specifications are now revealed by a tipster, Snoopytech. Let’s have a look at the specifications.
Galaxy Z Fold 5 specifications
According to the tipster, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 will be equipped with a 7.6-inch main screen that supports a 1Hz to 120Hz variable refresh rate. While the cover screen comes in the size of 6.2 inches with a resolution of 2316 X 904. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor.
Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5 will have Android 13-based One UI 5.1.1
For connectivity, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 supports 5G, GPS, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and a USB 3.2 Type-C port. The device is smaller with a triple camera setup, the 50 MP main camera, 12MP ultrawide camera, and 12MP telephoto camera. For selfie purposes, it is equipped with a 10MP resolution front camera.

Galaxy Z Flip 5 specifications
The Galaxy Z Flip 5 features a 6.7-inch main screen with full HD+ resolution; along with this, it also comes with a 3.4-inch cover screen which is having the resolution 748×720 resolution. Verizon has rolled out the March 2024 security patch update for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 devices. Earlier, these devices had received the same update outside the US, but now they are gradually expanding to the US.
The Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 are spotted getting new updates with the firmware version numbers F926USQS5HXBD and F711USQS6HXBD, respectively. It is worth noticing the update is currently available for the devices locked to Verizon, but it will soon be available on more carriers.

Samsung has rolled out the March 2024 security patch to almost all devices but still needs to complete the update distribution to all eligible devices. So, gradually expanding the update to remaining devices, the company has started rolling out the update for the Galaxy S23 FE in the US.
