Google provides a significant Android OS update every year. And as usual, we anticipate certain Galaxy phones to receive Android 14 and One UI 6.0 in the second half of 2023. Samsung follows suit and updates its One UI on top of Google’s new OS.
Android 14 One UI 6.0 Update for Galaxy S23 Series :
Samsung is already internally testing One UI 6.0 on the Galaxy S23 series, according to the data derived from the company’s server as of May 9, 2023. The Galaxy S23 series is the first model to participate in the beta program, but it hasn’t got its schedule. It is expected that the trio of Galaxy S23 will have its stable release in October, and the One UI 6.0 public beta testing will happen in the first week of August.
On June 6, 2023, a leak suggested that the One UI 6.0 beta for the S23 series would arrive in mid of July and a stable one in October. It is revealed that as soon as the model receives a stable Android 14 update will be circulated. The Galaxy S23 series will mark its entry into the One UI 6.0 beta stage in the third week of July.
Android 14 One UI 6.0 Update for Galaxy S22 series
Compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy S22 series is expected to receive its One UI 6.0 beta update in August. In terms of stable build, the Galaxy S22 may receive Android 14 in November 2023.
Android 14 One UI 6.0 Update for Foldables:
Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4: According to the firmware data from Samsung’s servers, the internal testing for these models began in the second week of May, as of reports on May 9, 2023. The One UI 6.0 beta testing phase may begin in October, and a stable upgrade will arrive in November for both foldable.
Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3: No official confirmation about the potential release date of the next significant OS upgrade for the old foldable. The Android 14 upgrade may be released in November after finishing the beta stage.
Android 14 One UI 6.0 upgrade for the Galaxy A53 and A54:
In comparison to A52’s Android update, the Galaxy A53 may participate in the next One UI 6.0 this year and is expected to receive a stable version in November. And as for Galaxy A54, things are awaited.
