Unlocked Galaxy S23 series get big camera update in the US

Samsung is one of the most active companies in terms of software updates; the month company has distributed two types of updates which are based on the same June 2023 security patch. One software version is simple and carries only new security patches for Galaxy devices, while the Galaxy S23 has been designed differently and added some extra enhancements for the camera.
What do we expect from the massive camera update?
Recently, US carrier-locked Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra users received the massive camera update with June 2023 patch, and now the company is giving the same treatment to the carrier-unlocked models of the Galaxy S23 series with a 2.2 GB software package; in this update, the company has introduced some new enhancements and fixes for the camera. The changelog is not a great help since it only talks about improvements in stability, reliability, and security, but we know that the changes made by the South Korean house are even more interesting: Samsung solved the problem of the Galaxy S23 related to the camera’s autofocus, but it has also introduced a new option for 2x zoom within Portrait mode, a renewed image processing in Some users also report progress in the overall fluidity of the One UI.

As we said earlier, the latest update includes the June 2023 security update, which brings 60+ security vulnerability fixes that improve the security of the device. Currently, the update is rolling out for the unlocked variants, so the users who own Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra can identify the latest update with firmware versions S911U1UEU1AWF3, S916U1UEU1AWF3, and S918U1UEU1AWF3 sequentially.

The update is spotted on the T-Mobile network, and most probably it is now expanded to more carriers. The same update is also available for the locked variant of the devices on some limited networks, but it is expected to be expanded to more carriers in the coming days.
