Samsung S series devices are always on trend; the company gives them special treatment in terms of software updates. Samsung introduced its latest flagship device in the S series lineup earlier this year as Galaxy S23; there were three models available in the series, including Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra.

All three devices of Galaxy S23 are getting significant in the initial phase. For instance, Samsung has served them One UI 5.1 update exclusively. The devices also got the two camera maintenance updates which have improved their functioning.

Android 14-based One UI 6.0 goes a step further

Now with the latest development, a new firmware version of One UI 6.0 and Android 14 is spotted on the Geekbench database. The firmware confirms that Samsung has finalized the testing of the next major update for Galaxy S23. The firmware in question is distinguished by the code S918U1UEU1ZWFA (in theory, for the other two models it should be S911U1UEU1ZWFA and S916U1UEU1ZWFA).

Samsung is planning to introduce the One UI 6 beta program in the last week of July. In the same week company will organize the unpacked event where it will unveil the new generation of foldable, including Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5. The new foldable will come with One UI 5.1.1 version preinstalled exclusively. Then with the new update, they will also get access to the One UI 6.0 update.

Apart from these, Samsung will also introduce some more gadgets in the unpacked event, including Galaxy Tab S9 series and One UI 6, which may also get access to fresh One UI software.
