Samsung Galaxy SmartTag 2 is around the corner

Samsung is predicted to reveal a number of new gadgets at its upcoming Galaxy Unpacked presentation. Foldable and tablets – The Galaxy Z Flip 5, Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Tab S9, Galaxy Tab S9+, and Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra will make their debut. The original Galaxy SmartTag seems to be receiving a replacement shortly, so it seems. The Galaxy Smart Tag2, model numbered EI-T5600, is certified under Bluetooth SIG. The Galaxy Smart Tag2 is also verified for its name. It also states that the future Smart Tag2 will support Bluetooth v5.3. 

The specs and other features regarding this forthcoming object tracker are yet unclear. You can track every object that is in connection with the Galaxy Smart Tag. The Galaxy SmartTag comes with two different variations, a component of Samsung’s SmartThings ecosystem:

  1. Bluetooth LE 5.0 type – compatible with any Galaxy Handset
  2. Ultra Wide Band (UWB) type – compatible with the Galaxy S21+ and S21 Ultra

After a few months of Galaxy SmartTags’ release, SmartTag+ was brought to light, which integrates BLE and UWB technology into one device. In SmartThings+, the users can just push the single button once or hold down to execute the custom actions with a CR2032 replacement battery button. The price information for both the version has been revealed

  2. SmartTag – Costs around 2,460 Indian rupees($29.99)
