Samsung Galaxy Books Windows 11 Set to Support a Vast Array of Android Apps

Back on June 24, 2021, Microsoft announced that users could run Android apps on Windows 11 through Windows Subsystem for Android(WSA) in one of their official events, but the initiative came into effect only earlier this year. The collaboration between Microsoft and Amazon Appstore was formed for accessing Android apps. But the excitement didn’t last for long because the users can access only those apps that are available on the Amazon App Store, and in turn, the store holds only a few sets of Android apps.
Earlier, Amazon only allowed very few selected developers to place their applications on the Amazon Appstore. Even Though with the narrow focus, the Android app experience on Windows 11 could have been better, the generation had a number of obvious problems. Today Amazon Appstore released an official report; it decided to provide universal accessibility to all the developers so that it can reach several million users. Amazon stated that “now generally available,” implying every developer can extend their application work on the store.
Audible, TikTok, Lords Mobile, Hungry Shark Evolution, and Epic Seven are some of the popular Android applications and games which are gaining new PC customers without the need to develop a separate version for Windows. With the Amazon Appstore on Windows 11, Epic Seven enhanced their app’s user base and offered a whole gaming world, boosting their income with the App Store SDK. This will, of course, bring out more available apps than in the prior case.

To avail of Android apps on Windows 11, open the Microsoft store and look for Amazon Appstore. Once installing and configuring it, the user will be prompted to download the WSA – Windows Subsystem for Android. To access the shop launch and log in with the Amazon account, where the Windows 11 app list will be on the store. By user’s preference, the apps can be installed.
