After the US, Samsung News officially arrived in Canada

Samsung has come up with a new feature to reach its user’s everyday news in a more reliable way. In order to provide Canadians with a new method to get daily news in a convenient location on their Samsung Galaxy mobile, Samsung Canada has introduced Samsung News. The main purpose of the feature is to benefit the users with the necessary updates that they can get to know from anywhere and everywhere. Samsung News is an upgrade to Samsung Free and has begun its testing phase.
Currently, Samsung News is accessible in only a few countries, primarily the USA, where it was initially launched and exclusively available. However, the service has now expanded its reach to Canada, and there are indications that it may soon become available in other regions, including Europe.

Samsung News offers the news divided into three categories, Daily Briefings, News feed, and podcasts so that the users can easily find what they want. Daily Briefings will deliver two sets of briefings every day, which hold the most important news of the day, one in the morning and the other in the evening.
News feeds allow the user to read a stream of news from Samsung’s partners, and in other ways, it is just like the feeds on social media, where you can view the content posted by your following list of pages. And as for podcasts everyone knows about podcasts; here, the users can access news and entertainment that they wish as digitally available audio files.

The firm said that the customers who already have Samsung Free installed on their smartphones will see the icon change to Samsung News when their applications are updated. Not only to the region but the feature, Samsung News will also give accessibility only to a few selected smartphones, but we need to wait for a complete rollout of the feature to all addressable devices. Coming to how to access this for users who don’t have Samsung free earlier, the software can be directly downloaded from the Samsung Galaxy Store.
Jihoon Lee, President and CEO of Samsung Canada, opened up that,” With Samsung News, Canadians can enjoy access to a timely, curated selection of news tailored to their individual preferences. We recognize many Canadians are increasingly consuming news on their devices and we are proud to offer Galaxy users a seamless, personalized news experience in the palm of their hand.”
