Galaxy Watch
Samsung Wallet, WhatsApp, and Thermo check apps arrive on the WearOS Galaxy Watches
The Galaxy Watch 6 series will be soon unveiled at the Galaxy Unpacked Event in Seoul, South Korea. Ahead of the event, an interesting announcement from Samsung has arrived regarding the Galaxy Watch series. The firm has announced that three new applications will be made compatible with its Galaxy smartwatches.
With this variety of new apps, smartwatch users can enhance their experience within the Galaxy watches more responsively, adaptively, and in a multifunctional manner. The firm said,” With Samsung Wallet, Thermo Check, and WhatsApp, users can do more than ever straight from their wrist.”
Samsung Wallet For Galaxy Watches
The Samsung Wallet app comes first; the most recent app will allow customers to utilize performance tickets as well as make payments and submit IDs. The software is thought to be a replacement for the Samsung Pay app. The Samsung Pay app already has access to Galaxy watches that were launched earlier. The new Galaxy Watch series will support the application. Samsung has not stated the app’s availability on Watch 4 and Watch 5 series.
New Thermo Check App
Next is the Thermo Check, which may be the feature garners the most attention as the name itself suggests that it detects the temperature; the users can quickly determine the temperature of their surroundings, including the food they are going to consume and the water they are about to swim in, all without making any physical contact. This app will function using Samsung’s Privileged Health software development kit (SDK), which includes the new Skin Temperature API and infrared sensors on the watch. The accessibility of this app will be provided to the upcoming Galaxy series first, followed by the Galaxy Watch 5 series later sometime.
WhatsApp is now available for all WearOS-based Galaxy Watch users
Last but not least, Whatsapp. For the company’s Wear OS-based Galaxy Watch 5 series, and Galaxy Watch 4 series, Whatsapp is now accessible. Users can now carry on conversations, reply through voice messages, and can attend calls without having to remove their phones. Only devices running Wear OS 3 or later are capable of using it.
