Samsung introduced its flagship Tablet series in the Unpacked 2023. Amidst the launch event, the company unveiled the new Galaxy Tab S9, Galaxy Tab S9+ and the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra. The Galaxy Tab lineup comes with new and exciting features, but here in this article, we are sharing with you the detailed specifications of the Galaxy Tab S9+ model.

The Galaxy Tab S9+ is packed with some exciting features, which include a brilliant design, stunning cameras, a powerful and fastest processor, massive battery life, large storage, a big AMOLED display, and more.

Galaxy Tab S9+ Specifications:

Display: The Galaxy Tab S9+ comes with a large 12.4 inches super AMOLED display with QHD+ pixels resolution, 256 ppi nits brightness, HDR10+ corning gorilla glass 5 with a refresh rate of 120Hz. 

Processor: The new Galaxy Tab is powered by the most powerful and energy-efficient Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2 Chipset with a 3.2 GHz Octa Core Processor. Verizon rolls out One UI 6.1 update for Galaxy Tab A9+ in the USA

Earlier this month, Samsung rolled out the One UI 6.1 to several units of the Galaxy Tab A9 series, including Europe and Asia. Now,  with the latest development, the company has made it live in the US on the Verizon network and is expected to be available more in the next few days.

Notably, the One UI 6.1 update is now live for the locked variant of the Galaxy A9+ smartphone; it is spotted on the Verizon network, and users can identify the latest update by the firmware version number X218USQU2CXE6. With the latest update, you will get support for several new features that will enhance the experience of using the device. It is worth noticing that the update is coming with an older security update in the form of a May 2024 security patch.

One UI 6.1 features 

With the latest One UI 6.1 update, several new features have arrived. According to the official changelog, the latest update has introduced new battery protection, which will extend your battery’s lifespan. Now you can customize alarms, change the background with your own images or videos, and tap the clock to change the style. In the Gallery application, you can copy and paste images.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE 5G getting May 2024 security patch in the US

Samsung has recently rolled out the One UI 6.1 update in several countries, including Canada, Europe, and South Korea. Now, with the continuation of the security update, the device has started getting the latest security patch update in the form of the May 2024 security patch.

Information Tivey: The Galaxy Tab S7 FE is spotted getting a May 2024 security patch update in the US. More specifically, the locked unit of the device was spotted getting the update with the firmware version number T738USQS9DXE3. The update is currently spotted on the US Cellular locked network, and it is expected that it may be introduced to more carriers in the next few days.

The May 2024 security patch is a normal security patch update that doesn’t bring any new features, but it will improve the overall security of the devices. According to the official documentation, the May 2024 security patch update has brought more than 50 fixes, and Google has introduced 31 patches. Meanwhile, Samsung has introduced 25 more patches to exclusively improve the working of Galaxy devices.

Verizon locked Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy A15 5G getting May 2024 security patch

Samsung has already started rolling out the June 2024 security patch, but due to carrier restrictions, some late-comer devices are still receiving the May 2024 security patch. Here we are talking about the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy A15 5G smartphones.

It is worth noticing that Samsung has already released the May 2024 security update for these devices but not fully expanded it to all the units, so now the remaining units, which are locked to different carriers, are gradually getting the security patch update.

As of writing, the Verizon-locked units of the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy A15 5G are getting a new update in the form of a May 2024 security patch with the firmware version numbers X518USQS4BXE1 and A156USQS2BXE5, respectively. It is expected that the update will be available on more carriers in the next few days.
