Samsung is working outstandingly like yesterday. The company has launched its new products, and now it is back to work and rolled out a new software update. The company has served a new update for Galaxy A53.

Notably, the latest update brings the July 2023 security patch for Galaxy A53. The update is now live in Europe. Users can identify the latest update with the firmware version number A536BXXS7CWG2.

The July 2023 security update is a security patch that doesn’t bring any innovations. It primarily focuses on strengthening security by fixing over 90 security vulnerabilities; Samsung has also added 38 SVE, which aims to fix bugs found on Galaxy devices.

Moreover, the update improves the functionality of the devices by fixing the issues; along with this, your device will get more stability to perform different tasks. It is worth noticing that the device has grabbed the One UI 5.1 as its last major update, which brought many important changes to the device. The next big update will come as One UI 6.0 for the device.

The Galaxy A53 5G is one of the most popular mid-range devices of Samsung. The company launched the device last year. It came with Android 12 and then got some more updates, and currently, it is running on One UI 5.1 based on Android 13. The device is promised to grab four Android updates, which means the device will get the major updates up to Android 16. Along with this, it will also get a similar security update for four more years.

Samsung has started rolling out the May 2024 security patch update with the Galaxy S24 series devices. This time the company has started it with the US region. Earlier,  the device had stopped receiving the latest security patch on the ATT network, but now with the latest development, it is live on the Verizon network.

Users who own Verizon and T-Mobile locked the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra with the firmware version numbers S921USQS2AXD3, S926USQS2AXD3, and S928USQS2AXD3. With the latest update, the smartphone will get some security-related enhancements.

According to the official documentation, the May 2024 security patch update will provide more than 50 fixes. Google has added 31 fixes, which resolve the issue related to the Android OS. Additionally, Samsung has also included 25 more fixes that fix issues related to the Galaxy device’s internal functions.

Moreover, the update is mainly limited to the security enhancement, which means you may not get any visible changes, but sometimes it also brings stability and other function-related enhancements that may enhance the devices.

It is worth noting that the update appears on limited locked models bound to Verizon and ATT networks and takes time to reach every unit. Along with this, the update will gradually be available on more networks and outside the US.

If you are using the locked variant of the Galaxy S24 series bound to the mentioned networks, then you can check and download the update by simply going to the software update menu via system settings.
