Samsung unveiled the most awaited and next iteration in the Galaxy Watch lineup, the Galaxy Watch 6 series, during the Unpacked event held in Seoul, South Korea. Both the watches are packed with amazing features and enhanced functionality, and the company committed to both the watches getting four years of major software updates.

Samsung announced Galaxy Watch 6 and the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic with the One UI Watch 5 and Wear OS 4 updates and the company offers four years of major OS updates along with five years of security patch updates.
Consequently, the brand-new Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy Watch 6 classic will receive four years of Wear OS updates, up to Wear OS 8 and One UI Watch 9.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 series runs on Wear OS 4 at launch. This latest OS has some exciting functionality, including a sleep tracker, various health modes, sensors, and more.
