Galaxy Watch4 and Watch5 users can use Samsung’s new One-Click band

A week ago, Samsung introduced its next generation of smartwatches, the Galaxy Watch 6 series. With greater enhancements in terms of display, battery life, and performance, the series arrived with two variants: the Galaxy Watch 6 and the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic. The notable change in the Watch 6 series is the comeback of rotating bezels in the classic variant, which were excluded in its predecessor. Galaxy watches have the aesthetic advantage of changing the band at any time when needed. Other than bezel replacement, the new watch series features a one-band mechanism.
In the earlier smartwatches, there used to be a traditional pin that could be used to push over so that the bands could be exchanged. This was replaced with Samsung’s One-Click band mechanism in the two smartwatches in the Watch 6 series. The one-Click band mechanism enables Galaxy Watch bands to connect to the watch without the use of any tools. Buttons will be present in place of a pin or sliding lever in traditional models.
The bands using the new connection mechanism will preserve backward compatibility with the Watch 4 and Watch 5 Galaxy Watch models, as was officially stated by Samsung. With the Galaxy Watch 6 series, the firm will be coming up with a new fabric band and a new smartwatch band connection. It is crucial to note that these new launches will be consistent with all existing Galaxy Watch models.

For Galaxy Watch 4 and 5 users, in order to put on or take off the bands, they need to slide a tiny lever. However, sliding a lever is quite difficult when it comes to changing the bands frequently. This scenario has changed for the users of the Galaxy Watch 6 and Watch 6 Classic, as the new series holds a button, which makes it simpler and faster to connect or remove the bands. It seems the firm intends to enhance the smartwatch’s versatility.
Black, Blue, Sand, and Lavender are the four color options for the Fabric Band, which retails for $49.99. This cloth band has a velcro loop construction to provide a tight fit and is said to provide improved comfort compared to other straps.
