The Galaxy Tab S9 FE appears for the first time in live images
Samsung made a big revelation by launching the fifth generation of foldables, the Galaxy Watch 6 series and Galaxy Tab S9 series. The tablet series included the Galaxy Tab S9, Galaxy Tab S9+, and Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra. Samsung also has intriguing plans to create a sub-flagship tablet series, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE. There have been several rumors regarding the fan edition variants of the Tab S9 series. The firm intends to bring out two FE variants, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy Tab S9 FE+, and this was even accidentally verified by Samsung on its official website.
After months, the live images of the FE tablets have been revealed for the first time. The images were shared by the firm for the FCC certification of the tablets, but the images aren’t clear. Both variants seem to have diagonally differing screens, and there will be a single selfie camera. Finally, the image shows the presence of optimized bezels in the bigger model. The Galaxy Tab S9 FE bears the model number SM-X516B, according to the FCC certification listing.
Technically, the Exynos 1380 chipset will power up the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy Tab S9 FE+. By default, the tablet series will come with Android 13 on top of One UI 5.1.1, and it is known that Samsung will soon come up with its One UI 6 Android 14 update. The Tab S9 series will receive the newer software version a few months after launch.
The FE versions of the Tab S9 series are highly anticipated, as the firm released only one Fan edition tablet, the Galaxy Tab S7 FE, in 2021. No official announcement about the launch of these products has come out, but their appearance on the FCC site points to an imminent launch.
