Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G gets August 2023 security patch
Samsung is constantly rolling out new security patches for its Galaxy devices. It is worth noticing that the company started rolling out the August 2023 security update to its devices a couple of weeks ago. Then gradually updated several devices, and continuing it now, the company is updating another device, the Galaxy A52s 5G.
Notably, the device is currently getting the update in the Southeast Europe region. Users can easily identify the update with this firmware version number: A528BXXS4EWGB. It is expected that the update will soon be expanded to more European countries in the next few days.
The August 2023 security update doesn’t bring any new features for the device; instead, it comes with some fixes for strengthening the security of the devices. According to the official documentation of Samsung, the latest update comes with 85 fixes that resolve the issues found in the Android OS and Samsung devices.
For your information, the Galaxy A52s is listed in the monthly update category, so the device is eligible to get at least one update per month. Currently, the device is grabbing its eighth monthly security patch update. Apart from these, the device has also received two One UI skin updates, One UI 5 and One UI 5.1, respectively.
The Galaxy A52s was launched back in 2021; the device came with Android 11. Later, the device received two more major updates, and currently it is running on Android 13. Still, the device is eligible for at least one more Major update, which will be available this year in the form of One UI 6, based on Android 14.
