Samsung has rolled out a new update for the Sound Assistant. This update does not bring anything new but improves functionality. Users will have a better experience managing their device’s sound-related options.

This is the second update for the app, which will be available in a couple of days. In the earlier update, the Korean giant packed some new features like the voice mask effect, but after installing the update, some users have faced force-close issues.

So now, with the new update v4.5.00.2, the company has come up with a fix that will improve the functionality on the devices that are running One UI 4.1. More specifically, the force-close issue is now resolved. While other device users may also see some improvement in the functioning of the app.

The Sound Assistant is one of the modules of Good Lock that offers several customization options related to volume. This module offers different customization options for managing sound on the devices; for instance, the app allows you to control media volume instead of ringtone when pressing the volume key, and it also allows you to control individual application volumes.

The latest update of Sound Assistant is now available on the Galaxy Store. It has an installed size of 22.43MB. The application is designed only for Galaxy devices, so only Samsung users can install it on their phones. One more thing: the latest update is available for those Galaxy devices that are running Android 11 or above.
