Samsung updates three more affordable devices to the August 2023 patch

Samsung is nowadays busy distributing the One UI 5.1.1 update to its eligible Galaxy devices, but on the other side, the company is also expanding its new security update in the form of August 2023. The update is now rolling out the latest patch to three affordable devices, including the Galaxy M01Galaxy M31, and Galaxy F41.

What’s new with the August 2023 update?

The August 2023 patch is part of the mobile security program, so it doesn’t bring any new features for the devices, but being a security patch update, it brings several fixes that resolve issues related to Android OS and Galaxy smartphones.

In detail, the latest update comes with 85 fixes that improve the security of the Galaxy devices. The patch was introduced by Google to enhance the Android OS security, and Samsung has also added some more fixes that bring more fixes for its Galaxy devices exclusively.

The latest update for the Galaxy M01 comes with firmware version number M015GXXS5CWH2. The Galaxy M31 is getting an update with firmware version M315FXXU3CWH2. The Galaxy F41 is receiving the same update with firmware version number F41FXXU2CWH1. The update is now live in India. It is expected that it will soon be available in more countries in the coming days.

Users who own the above-mentioned smartphones should start receiving the August 2023 security update. Whenever the update is available for your device, you will receive a notification, and then you can easily update your device via the software update menu.
