Samsung updates its first generation Galaxy Z Flip smartphone to One UI 5.1.1 skin

Samsung has always had a special category of smartphones in its catalog; for instance, the earlier company had Note series devices that came with unique features that ran with the S-Pen, However, they have now retired, but after their departure, Samsung still has its foldable category of smartphones, which are getting more attention, so to keep them up to date, the company has still rolled out the new One UI for its first Galaxy Z Flip smartphone.

The original Galaxy Z Flip is now getting the One UI 5.1.1 update, which is the latest skin upgrade from Samsung. The latest update comes with many new functions that come under several system-level apps, including multitasking, taskbars, Flex Mode, quick sharing, Samsung Health, and many more.

Along with the new One UI 5.1.1, Samsung has also brought the latest security patch with the update in the form of August 2023. The patch comes with more than 80 fixes that improve the overall security of the devices.

The One UI 5.1.1 update is now available in many countries. Users can identify the latest update by the firmware version numbers; the LTE variant of the Galaxy Z Flip is getting the update with version number F700FXXUDKWH7, while the 5G variant is grabbing the update with firmware version number F707BXXUAKWH7. Users can easily install the latest update by going to the software update menu.
