Samsung rolls out One UI 5.1.1 update for the Galaxy Z Fold2 5G in Europe
Samsung is gradually expanding the One UI 5.1.1 update to eligible devices. The company has introduced it to almost all devices, but due to server limitations, it is only available in a few countries. This is why the company has now expanded the update to Europe for the Galaxy Z Flip 2.
Currently, the One UI 5.1.1 update for the Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G has been spotted in Italy. It comes with firmware version number F916BXXU4KWH7. It is expected that the update will soon be available in more countries. Earlier, the company had already rolled out the same update to the South Korean units of the Galaxy Z Fold 2.
Samsung One UI 6 Beta program will be live in more markets from tomorrow
One UI 5.1.1 is the latest Samsung skin, which is specially designed for foldable and large-screen smartphones. With the new update, users will get improvements in multitasking, and the camera and gallery will also get some new changes that will give you a next-level experience. Along with this, the company has also introduced many new functions under several system-level apps, including Flex mode, Quick Share, Samsung Health, and many more.
Apart from new features, Samsung has also updated the security patch level to August 2023. The new security patch has introduced 85 fixes for improvements to the security of the devices. It is worth noticing that Samsung has also added more than 30 patches exclusively for Galaxy devices.
Users who own the Galaxy Z Fold 2 in Italy should receive the notification of the update, but in case you haven’t received the notification yet, you can also check the update manually by going to the software update menu via the system’s main settings.
