Verizon Galaxy S20 series get One UI 5.1.1 update in the US

Last month, Samsung announced the One UI 5.1.1 update for the Galaxy devices, which are equipped with large and flexible screens. However, the company has also expanded into high-end devices. Verizon is now rolling out the new One UI 5.1.1 feature for the Galaxy S20 devices.

According to the official changelog available on the Verizon page, there are multiple changes under several functions, including Gallery: now you can copy and paste effects, Added more date and time styles of watermarks; added focus view to highlight individuals. Samsung Health has improved sleep management and now has more features like sleep score factors, sleep consistency, and sleep animal symbols.

One UI 5.1.1: Modify Recent Apps Limit on Taskbar

Quick Share: Added Private Sharing to set time limits and prevent recipients from resharing files, and also added Share to Contacts to quickly find your contacts and share files. Device care: the memory management has been enhanced with some new options and Mobile hotspot: added dashboard for hotspot mobile data usage; users will also set a date and time limit for hotspot usage.

The latest update is now being rolled out by Verizon to its affiliated Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, and Galaxy S20 Ultra devices. Users can easily identify the latest update by their firmware version numbers, G981VSQUAHWH5, G986VSQUAHWH5, and G988VSQUAHWH5, respectively.

Users who own Galaxy S20 series devices affiliated with Verizon should start getting new updates on their devices; however, it will take some time to reach every device.
