Luxury Golf Brand PXG Gets Its Own Galaxy Watch 6 Classic
In partnership with upscale golf brand PXG, Samsung Electronics will begin selling the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic PXG Edition in Korea on September 15. Starting on the 15th, a limited number of the “Galaxy Watch 6 Classic PXG Edition” will be offered. Along with physical retailers like Samsung Gangnam, Samsung Store Shinsegae Gangnam, Samsung Store Hyundai Apgujeong/Trade Centre, and Samsung Store Lotte Jamsil/Busan, it is also offered online at places like Samsung.com, Golfzone Market, and Golfing.
Notably, the third item produced in collaboration between Samsung Electronics and PXG is the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic PXG Edition. It blends PXG’s outstanding quality with the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic Golf Edition’s analog watch sensibility. The two different PXG strap styles elegantly incorporate the brand’s characteristic black and white hues, enabling styling both on the job and off it. The PXG ball pouch combines elegance and functionality by using a detachable multi-pouch construction.
It also includes a PXG ball marker and a PXG golf ball with the PXG brand emblem etched on it. The QR code on the attached voucher makes it simple to download “two types of watch faces exclusively for PXG.” Additionally, a PXG ball bag, a PXG golf ball, and a PXG ball marker will be included in the smartwatch’s gift box. Price points for the watch are KRW 869,000 for the 43mm variant and KRW 899,000 for the bigger 47mm model. A couple of months after the announcement, Wear OS 5 will probably be available in stable form, and Samsung could soon release a stable One UI Watch 6 based on that platform. However, it’s yet to be clear what new features and UI design improvements Google plans to bring with the Wear OS 5 update. It is expected to improve integration with Android-based smartphones, tablets, and TVs.
With the revelation of the financial revenue statistics in Q1 2024, Samsung has confirmed that the brand is going to up its ante again by significantly improving the wearables sales, unveiling new devices along with certain prominent aspects like the Galaxy Ring, while also officially claiming to launch some more advanced premium Galaxy Watch lineups.
