In the last few months, the WhatsApp team has worked very hard and introduced a bunch of user-friendly features. Now the application is not only limited to the basic functionality of communication, but with the new development, it has received some useful improvements that have made the application more interesting.
However, WhatsApp initially started with the aim of providing more security and privacy for its users, and now, with the new update, WhatsApp is back with improvements in security and a new passkey feature.
WhatsApp has a password feature
WhatsApp has started developing the passkey feature for the user. It is exploring new ways to help users verify their accounts in those situations where they encounter a problem when logging into the service, and with version number 188.8.131.52 beta for some users.
The passlay feature works as an extra key, which increases the level of security. This holds a combination of numbers or characters used to confirm the identity of users; however, users do not have to remember those characters because they are stored in password managers like Google Password Manager.
The new Passkey feature is currently available in the beta update with version number 184.108.40.206. Users who have already registered in the beta program of WhatsApp will get the update through the Play Store. Currently, the beta program is full, so no new user can join it, but if you still want the new beta update, you can sideload it through ApkMirror.
