Galaxy S22 One UI 6.0 Beta live in the US
After releasing the One UI 6 beta for the Galaxy S23, Galaxy A34, and Galaxy A54, Samsung is now rolling out the newest version of its operating system, which is based on Android 14, to three models in the Galaxy S22 family in the United States. This means that people who own one of these three phones can try out the latest features and improvements.
A couple of days ago, the company rolled out One UI 6 beta updates for the Galaxy S22 in two countries, including Korea and the UK. Now for expansion, the company has rolled out the first beta update in the US.
One UI 6 will be the last big update for these Samsung Galaxy phones
The company itself has been in charge of making the announcement of the launch through its official forum in the US, where it explains that One UI 6.0 Beta is now available for the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra.
It is worth noticing that the update is available for the Galaxy S22 unlocked and T-Mobile-affiliated units. To get confirmation, you can verify the update using the new firmware version number, ZWIA. The update is coming with a software package of 2872MB. The update also includes the Android security patch of September 2023, released by Google just a few days ago.
In the first One UI 6 Beta update, you will get all the new changes to several existing functions, including Quick Panel, Samsung Keyboard, Samsung Internet, lock screen, home screen, and many more. Additionally, the update also contains several improvements, like multitasking, content sharing, weather forecasting, and several settings.
How to download and install One UI 6.0 Beta
To sign up, owners of one of the compatible mobile phones must access the Samsung Members application, where they will see a notice indicating the existence of the beta program. In doing so, the system update should appear automatically.
According to further reports, Samsung could release the One UI 6 beta program for its latest Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5 devices in the next few days, while the older Galaxy foldables, including the Galaxy Z Fold 4, Flip 4, Fold 3, and Flip 3, are expected to get the One UI 6 beta access in October. So all the users should be ready and keep the Samsung Members app updated, as Samsung could release the update anytime in the coming days.
