Galaxy A55 Selfie Camera to Remain Unchanged

Leaks and rumors concerning the Galaxy A54 device’s replacement continue to circulate online. Meanwhile, new specifications about the front camera of the forthcoming Galaxy A55 smartphone have now surfaced online. However, some people have been disappointed by this information. According to the Dutch news blog, GalaxyClub, the South Korean giant, will opt for a 32-megapixel front camera once again. Back in 2020, Samsung equipped the Galaxy A51 with a 32 MP front camera, and this tradition was followed in the upcoming A5x lineup, including the Galaxy A52, A53, and A54 models.
Earlier, it was reported that the rear primary camera of the Galaxy A55 would remain unchanged with the same 50 MP sensor. This was also the same feature as its predecessors; we hoped for an enhanced selfie camera, but that too went in vain with the recent reports. The other disappointing news is that the Galaxy A55 5G will also equip the same 12 MP ultrawide sensor in addition to the 50 MP wide camera and the 32 MP selfie cameras. Also, these camera features remain unchanged; our only hope is the Galaxy A55’s third rear camera sensor, where we can expect development.

However, Samsung’s very own Exynos 1480 chipset is anticipated to power up the Galaxy A55 5G, according to an earlier report from the same source. It was claimed that Samsung is already testing a CPU with a model number of S5E8845, which is termed ‘Rose’. All this points to the Exynos 1480 chipset. Its predecessor, the Galaxy A53, was equipped with the Exynos 1380 CPU, which had a model number of S5E8835; similarly, the Exynos 1280 chipset bears a model number of S5E8825. With a phone that is still in its early stages of development, it is evident that Samsung prefers to keep prices down by utilizing established parts that can now be made inexpensively and reliably.
The Galaxy A55 5G is expected to come out in the first quarter of 2024, mostly around March 2024, at an affordable price.
