One UI 6.0 Update: Release Date, Latest Beta & Stable info, Supported devices, and more

Since at least three months earlier, Samsung has started internal testing of One UI 6.0 in its Galaxy devices, and recently the company has released the beta updates to Galaxy S23 users. The updates were released back in August. The One UI 6 beta is limited to flagships. It should also release for other mid-range Galaxy devices in the future, but there’s no word on when that will happen. To start with, the One UI 6 beta program will be available in just seven countries, including China, UK, US, India, Germany, Poland, and South Korea.

October 21, 2023: According to the information, a new One UI 6 Beta 9 test build is spotted on the test server, which has the firmware version number S91*BXXU3ZWJK. 

October 20, 2023: The Galaxy Z Flip 5 is getting a beta 3 update with firmware version number ZWJ8 in Korea.

October 19, 2023: Samsung has started rolling out Beta 3 of One UI 6.0 for the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5 and is starting with the UK market. Now the company is expanding the update for US users.

October 19, 2023: The One UI 6 beta 8 update for Galaxy S23 Series is rolling out in Germany, India, Poland, the US and, the UK.

October 19, 2023: The Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 devices are initially getting the test of One UI 6 features in South Korea.

What comes with the first One UI 6 beta update?

Samsung has introduced a lot of new features and improvements in the different functions, such as Quick Panel, which has a new button layout that gives it a fresh new look and several functions that have been enhanced. Weather: A new widget called weather insight was introduced that gives more information about the weather. Camera: A new custom camera widget is introduced that creates a shortcut for opening the desired mode directly. Gallery: Now you can drag and drop pictures with one hand and use another hand to drop them into another album. When will the One UI 6 stable update be available?

As of now, it is very difficult to predict the One UI 6 stable update because this time Samsung has delayed the One UI 6 beta program by almost a month compared to last year. It is also obvious that Google is also delaying its Android 14 release. It all depends on Google. When it releases the stable update, Samsung will also start introducing the One UI 6 stale update for its Galaxy devices.

Which Galaxy devices will get the One UI 6 update?

Samsung follows a strict policy in terms of software updates. According to the new policy, the Galaxy device will get a maximum of five years of software support, including four Android updates and five years of minor security updates.
