Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 gets One UI 6.0 (Android 14) first beta in the UK

Last week, Samsung introduced the One UI beta 6 for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 in South Korea, then expanded the update to India, and now the beta program is open for UK users (for the Galaxy Z Fold 4). With the new beta update, these devices will get access to all new features, but it will only be available to those users who register their devices in the beta program.

One UI 6 beta brings all new features

The One UI 6 beta update is coming with all new features that will come under different existing system-level applications, such as Quick Panel Lock Screen, Home Screen, Samsung Keyboard, Weather, Camera, Gallery, Photo Editor, Calendar, and many more. In the latest One UI skin upgrade, Samsung is all set to bring all new improvements and changes to the system.

Samsung One UI 6.1 Eligible Devices List and Release Date

The Galaxy Z Fold 4 is getting a new One UI 6 beta update with firmware version number F936BXXU4ZWJ4. It comes in a 3GB software package, and the latest beta update is using the October 2023 patch for new security codes.

If you want to try all the new features on your device, then you have to enroll your device in the beta program. To do so, you just have to install the Samsung Member application on your device (if not installed previously), open it, tap on the one-UI beta program banner, and complete the process by agreeing to the enrollment. Once it’s done, you will get the new software update within a few minutes. Now just install it and enjoy all the new features and improvements.

It is important to note that after installing the beta update, you will not be able to use things like Google Wallet, banking apps, and Good Lock because the beta releases are not certified, so if you don’t want to face all these issues, then you can wait for the stable update.
