Samsung expands One UI 6 beta update for Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4 in more regions
Samsung has rolled out the One 6 beta updates for several devices. Initially, the company introduced the beta program to the Galaxy S23 users, and then gradually it expanded it to other Galaxy devices, continuing the expansion. Now, the Korean giant is now distributing the One UI 6 beta updates to the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 devices.
One UI 6 beta brings early access to several new features
One UI 6 is the latest skin upgrade for the Galaxy devices, which will bring several new enhancements for the devices, but before introducing the stable update to the devices, Samsung has introduced the beta update for testing purposes. However, with the first beta update, users will get early access to several features and improvements, such as the redesigned interface of Quick Panel, a new default font (Typeface), new emojis, lock screen features, custom camera widgets, weather widgets, and many more.
With the latest update, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 will get the latest security patch update in the form of October 2023, which brings several new fixes that enhance the overall security of the devices.
The Galaxy Z Fold 4 devices are getting the One UI 6 first beta update with firmware version number ZWJ4, while for the Galaxy Z Flip 4, it is not clear yet. According to the information, the beta update for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 is coming with a software package of 3 GB. Notably, the latest update could also bring some new versions of applications for both of the Galaxy devices.
At the moment, the new One UI 6 beta program has opened for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4 in India, and it is already running in South Korea. It is expected that these devices will be the beta update in more countries, including Germany, Poland, the US, the United Kingdom, and China.
