Galaxy S22 Starts Getting One UI 6 Beta 3 Update

Samsung has recently introduced the One UI 6 stable update to the Galaxy S23 devices in several countries, but on the other hand, the company is still running the One UI 6 beta program on some devices. From those, the Galaxy S22 is also the one that has started receiving the One UI 6 beta 3 update in South Korea.

Notably, the South Korean units of the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra are getting the One UI 6 update with the firmware version numbers S901NKSU3ZWJN, S906NKSU3ZWJN, and S908NKSU3ZWJN, respectively. The latest beta is still using the October 2023 patch for security and is available in a 900 MB software package.

One UI 6 Stable Update Also Arrives for Android 13 Galaxy S23 Owners

As usual, being a beta update, it doesn’t bring any features to the device, but according to the changelog, it is coming with further optimizations that make the software more stable. Additionally, the company has also highlighted some more issues that are not yet fixed in the known issue section; more specifically, the financial application is not running.

Android Users Upgrade Their Phones More Often Than iOS Users

The One UI 6 is the latest major update for Samsung devices, which will bring all the new features of Android 14 as well as some more features that will provide more usability options for users so they can do more productive work on their devices. In a nutshell, the latest One UI skin update brings new environments to several system-level applications like Quick Panel, lock screen, home screen, camera, Gallery, photo editor, and many more.

If you are using a Galaxy S22 device in Korea, then you can easily access all the new features of One UI 6 on your device. To do that, you have to first enroll your device in the One UI 6 beta program, which will automatically receive a new update, and then install it to get all the features.
