Samsung is really good at updating its Galaxy smartphones and tablets. Right now, they’re ahead of many other companies in giving out the Android 14-based One UI 6.0 Beta updates for the phones that can handle it. Now, the big Korean company is sending out One UI 6 Beta 4 for the Galaxy S22 Series. These phones got the Beta 3 update not too long ago, and now the new one is showing up in some countries.
Galaxy S22 One UI 6.0 Beta 4 Update
The One UI 6.0 Beta 4 for the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra is currently being sent out in South Korea with the firmware version ZWK7. It’s somewhere between 300MB and 1GB in size and comes with new security patch. The changelog is short and just says it makes the software more stable.
All three Galaxy phones – the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra – are now getting the One UI 6 Beta 4 in South Korea. It will soon be available in more places where the beta program is open. If you’re part of the beta program, you can manually check for the update by going to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install. If you’re not in the beta program but want to join, you can follow a guide to do so.
Looking ahead to the official release of One UI 6, you can expect it in November for your Galaxy S22 phone. They have already released the stable update first for the Galaxy S23 series and then for other Galaxy phones. Before you upgrade your phone, make sure to do a full backup and charge your phone to at least 50%.
