Galaxy F54 receives first firmware after One UI 6.0

Last month, Samsung successfully updated the One UI 6.0 update to most of the Galaxy devices, and the company is also gradually rolling out the latest security update for the eligible devices in the form of December 2023. For the Galaxy F54, this is the first security update after getting a major One UI upgrade.
Notably, the Galaxy F54 is getting a new update in India; it is coming with the firmware version number E546BXXS4BWL3. The update is coming with a security patch in the form of a December 2023 patch. The update aims to improve the security mechanisms of the devices.
Going into details, the latest update for the Galaxy F54 doesn’t bring any new features but will provide several new fixes; more specifically, there are 50 fixes included by Google that will improve the Android OS-related vulnerabilities. Along with this, there are 16 more fixes added by Samsung that exclusively bring a new update for the devices.
It is worth noting that the device had earlier received the Android 14-based One UI 6.0 update last month. Now it is getting the first post update, which is expected to bring some improvements to the functioning of the device. If you are also having any issues after installing the major update, then you should update the device to the latest version.
Samsung introduced the Galaxy F54 device in 2023 with Android 13 preinstalled. Samsung has kept the device in the four-year Android update, which means it will grab two or two more major updates in the coming years. Along with major updates, it will also frequently receive new security updates in the upcoming years.
