With the next Galaxy XCover 7 revealed by leaked information, it appears that Samsung is preparing to extend its lineup of smartphones as technology continues to advance. The anticipated launch of the Samsung Galaxy XCover 7, given its rumored lower price point, may represent an attempt by Samsung to increase the accessibility of rugged smartphones to a larger demographic.

A few weeks ago, official marketing photos of the Galaxy XCover 7 were first released. More detailed information regarding the new tougher smartphone, along with a number of fresh photos, has now been made public via the official partner website and the Czech Samsung dealer Setos.

The German news blog WinFuture revealed CAD rendering images of the Galaxy XCover 7. Samsung has placed a MediaTek MT6835V/ZA octa-core SoC, better known by its former moniker, Dimensity 6100+, in the Galaxy XCover 7. As per the technical specifications provided, it appears to be somewhat authentic. Samsung is not the manufacturer of 5G-capable semiconductors. Two powerful cores with a maximum speed of 2.2 GHz and six energy-efficient cores with a maximum speed of 2.0 GHz are available. There is 128 GB of internal flash memory with the possibility to expand via MicroSD card, and the RAM is always 6 gigabytes in capacity.

The Galaxy XCover 7 bears the model number SM-G556B. The model will have a full-HD display, which will most likely be an LCD screen. The front camera on sports or not is at the top edge, but it only has a meager 5-megapixel resolution. With a new 50-megapixel sensor fitted on the rear, Samsung has increased the resolution. The second camera that was previously installed is being removed at the same time, even though it was never really helpful in a commercial setting, which is obviously the target market for the Xcover 7 with its “Enterprise Edition” suffix.

The Galaxy’s other features are unquestionably far more significant for the corporate clients that Samsung is trying to attract. Furthermore, changing the 4050mAh battery when needed is a simple process. Additionally, a 3.5-mm headset connector and USB-C port are there for power supply.
