This extended support represents an increase of three years compared to previous Galaxy flagships and mid-range phones.
The Galaxy S24 Series will get new Android and One UI versions, along with security patches. The Galaxy S24 already has Android 14, and the last update it’ll get is whatever Google calls Android 21.
The Galaxy S24 series is the first series to get seven years of major OS updates in the entire Galaxy series yet. Once the Galaxy S24 reaches the limit of scheduled software updates, it will totally lose software support from the brand.
