Samsung may not give access to Galaxy Ring for iPhone users
Samsung has released the new Galaxy S24 series in the recent Galaxy Unpacked event. In this event, the company also teased its upcoming gadget, the Galaxy Ring, which has brought excitement not only among Galaxy users but also among other smartphone users, including iOS users. Unfortunately, iPhone users may not take advantage of the Galaxy Ring.
For your information, the Galaxy Ring will be the next powerful yet useful gadget that will help users track their different health parameters. It is expected to be capable of monitoring heart rate, temperature, and many more things. According to some reports, the gadget will also be capable of controlling devices like TVs, and it will also enable precise hand and finger motion tracking when paired with the upcoming XR glasses.
Samsung will make the Galaxy Ring compatible only with Android
Samsung is knowingly taking steps to make its products exclusive for its ecosystem, and it has previously made its product compatibility limited to Android devices, and some of the features are only exclusive to Galaxy devices.
Samsung’s executive, Hon. Pak, said that “like the company’s Galaxy Watches, it probably won’t be compatible with Apple’s iPhone.”
It clearly indicates that with the upcoming innovative gadget Galaxy Ring, the company will follow the same strategy, and it may also be compatible with Android devices. Some of the features may be usable only with Galaxy devices.
For the future, the Samsung executive says that Samsung is working on bringing an important health-related feature, which is a noninvasive blood sugar monitor or continuous blood pressure monitor; however, he doesn’t make any claim on the availability of the feature on the Galaxy Ring. If Samsung gets successful, then it will be a great breakthrough and a big achievement for the company.
