Android Auto bring a redesigned Google Assistant
Android Auto is packed with several features that aim to convince drivers to take advantage of different utility functions without any distractions. Google Assistant is one of the most common features that is used frequently, and now the company has brought new tweaks to Google Assistant.
Google Assistant gets some new tweaks to enhance the experience
Google has recently rolled out the new Android Auto 11.2 beta update. The company hasn’t disclosed any innovations or novelties arriving with the update, but after installing it, a newly designed Google Assistant was found.
The assistant will show the initial text in the bar, “Hey, how can I help you? It is shown to you until you revoke the assistant, and once this happens, it will start doing conversations and transcribe the responses in the bar. The assistant’s responses are still read aloud and not displayed on the screen to avoid distractions while driving.
Apart from this, Google Assistant has also gotten enhancements in the voice responses on Android Auto, as they now appear in any space not used by navigation maps. Along with this, the panel displays a’speak now’ message, which then transcribes the message and also offers a cancel and send button. To provide more convenience, we have also added the name and picture of the person you are talking to next to the conversation bar.
To take advantage of these new features, you should update Android Auto to the latest update, v11.2 beta. As a beta update, you need to enroll in the beta program, and then you will be eligible to get this update.
