Finally, the wait is over. Samsung has begun rolling out the first firmware for the Galaxy S24 series. It’s a small update that mostly catches up the phone to security fixes that arrived between the phone’s manufacture and release.

The Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra came with the January 2024 security patch out of the box; this update brings it up to February 1, 2024. The company mentioned in its monthly security bulletin earlier this month that the February 2024 security patch fixes 72 security vulnerabilities discovered in the previous software version.

The latest February 2024 security update has been spotted in South Korea but should be available in the other launch markets for the S24 series in the coming days. The weighs just over 550MB and comes with firmware version S92*NKSU1AXB5.

The new update for the Galaxy S24 that came out in February 2024 brings some cool stuff. First up, it makes the pictures on your phone clearer, not too sharp, not too smooth, just right in the middle. So, everything looks nice and clear without being too harsh on your eyes. Then, there’s this feature that helps you see the screen more comfortably. You can choose to optimize it or turn off something called “Enhanced Comfort” if you don’t need it. And if you like to play with colors, you’ll love this update because now you can turn off color optimization. That means you can adjust the colors on your screen however you like. Overall, these new features make your Galaxy S24 even better and give you more control over how things look on your phone.
