Galaxy S23 Ultra and S22 Ultra users will miss out: Smooth Lens Switching is exclusive to the S24 Ultra

It’s been more than a month since Samsung debuted its awaited Galaxy S24 flagship series, and it’s still a topic to discuss. The brand has lots of brand new and upgraded features, one of which is the real-time zoom lens.
Since the Galaxy S24 Ultra is one of the most premium smartphones in the entire Galaxy family yet, it’s pretty obvious it must have some premium and upgraded features that will enhance the user’s experience. One of the notable upgraded features Samsung has allotted to this device is the real-time zoom lens.
The Galaxy S24 Ultra has arrived with a real-time zoom lens, which helps in adjusting the lens from 0.6x to 10x optical zoom while capturing the video in HD at 60 fps. This permits users to create stunning videos with smooth transitions and clarity at different zoom levels. This real-time zoom lens leads to a smooth and seamless video-capturing experience.
If the reports are to be believed, as per the community moderator, the lens-switching function while video recording is exclusive to the Galaxy S24 Ultra. Apart from this, he also explained that his features required some special hardware resources, and only the Galaxy S24 Ultra has the necessary specifications to support them.

The noticeable fact is that this feature is only housed on the Galaxy S24 Ultra and is not available on the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24 Plus variants, or even on previous Galaxy Ultra variants such as the Galaxy S23 Ultra and Galaxy S22 Ultra.
It is also not appearing that Samsung has any plans to bring this feature to the rest of the other Galaxy devices in the future. The feature appears to be dependent on the hardware capabilities of the Galaxy S24 Ultra, which are not matched by any other device on the market.
