Samsung Galaxy Fit 3 Won’t Launch in the US

Samsung has recently introduced a new generation watch in the Galaxy F lineup as the Galaxy Fit 3. The company has officially announced it, which has grabbed the attention of many tech enthusiasts, but the company has also brought sad news by saying that it will launch the watch in limited regions, including Europe, Asia, and South America. This clearly means that users from the United States will not get access to the Galaxy Fit 3.
The main reason behind this is that the market trend in North America is not suitable for the Galaxy Fit 3. According to the information, “Samsung looks holistically across our product portfolio and bundles optimal devices together that align with the market trends and needs for each region.
In simple words, the company has analyzed that there is not enough fitness tracker market to balance out the marketing, distribution, and software support costs necessary to launch the Galaxy Fit 3 in the United States.
Going into the details, according to the report by Canalys global wearable band market analysis. The sales of Fitness Band were booked at about 80 million in 2020, then declined in 2021 to only 60 million, and then next year in 2022, it also received 40 million and 35.8 million in 2023. And this year, Fitness Bad could receive sales of 33 million.
On the other hand, smartwatch sales will jump by 17% to 82 million, and non-smart watches will reach the 90 million mark. The other reason for Samsung to step back from the US market is that some high-level competition is already available, like Xiomi, which offers a $40 smart band and also provides a quality tracker.
