For a long time, the Galaxy A55 has been appearing in leaks and rumors on a daily basis, and the tipster is also doing a great job by unveiling the expected specs, features, design, and more regarding the upcoming device even before any official announcement.

Previously, reports leaked that the Galaxy A55 probably appears in a flatter design similar to the Galaxy S24 series. Now, recent reports are reporting that the Galaxy A55 may get a material upgrade; this time, the brand may use aluminum for the frame, contributing to a slight weight increase of 213 grams. It is expected that it will have a metal glass back, which gives it a premium build quality.

The reports say that the Galaxy A55 will be powered by an Exynos 1480 processor, along with four high-performance cores clocked at 2.75 GHz and four power-efficient cores clocked at 2.0 GHz. Jumping on the memory package so it may get

As usual, this Galaxy A55 will also get a 5000mAh battery shelf, along with the 25W fast charging capabilities of its predecessor. It is expected to run the latest Android 14-based One UI 6.1 out of the box. However, at the moment, it is not confirmed whether it will get any AI features or not. 

To add an extra layer of protection, the brand may attach an IP67 rating and, for more convenience, an in-display fingerprint scanner and stereo speakers from its predecessors.

There are not many more changes that have appeared in the camera setup as compared to its predecessor. The Galaxy A55 camera setup includes a 50 MP unit along with an f/1.8 aperture and optical image stabilization. Then a 12 MP ultrawide sensor with an f/2.2 aperture and a 5 MP macro camera with an f/2.4 aperture. On the flip side, a 32 MP selfie camera is housed.

The reports reveal that the Galaxy A55 is expected to cost €449, which is approximately $470. By following the recent trend, expectations are saying that the US price could see a little bump. 

The exact launch date of the Galaxy A55 has not been officially revealed yet, but it is expected to take the floor in mid-March 2024. And it will arrive in four shades: navy, ice blue, white, and purple.
