Galaxy Watch 6 Gets Big Update: View Health Data on Your TV

Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 is the latest smart watch series in the Galaxy Watch lineup. With the latest generation, the company has introduced two models, including the Galaxy Watch 6 Base and the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic. For convenience, the Korean giant frequently rolled out a new update for the devices. Now,  the Galaxy Watch 6 series has started getting a new update for the Galaxy Watch 6 devices.

The latest update for the Galaxy Watch 6 series was spotted in South Korea. More specifically, the update is spotted on the Bluetooth variant of watches; the Galaxy Watch 6’s 40mm and 44mm versions are getting the new update with the firmware version numbers R930TBU1AXB7 and R940XXU1AXB7, respectively. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic’s 43mm and 47mm versions are getting the update with the firmware version numbers R950XXU1AXB7 and R960XXU1AXB7, respectively. The LTE models are expected to receive the update in the next few days.

  • Updated to the latest version of the TSP (Touch Screen Panel) firmware firmware.
  • Stabilization code application Stabilization code related to terminal operation has been applied

With the latest update, Galaxy Watch 6 users are getting the new ability to display exercise data measured by the watch on the TV screen. For your information, this functionality will be supported for Samsung TVs, monitors, projectors, and lifestyle products that will be released in 2024 by Samsung.

It is worth noticing that to use the ability you need to set up the same Samsung account on the TV or other gadgets that are already on the Galaxy Watch,.

Along with the new ability, the company has also introduced the latest security patch update in the form of a March 2024security patch, which will improve the internal functions of the Galaxy Y watch so you will get more protection against external threats that may be harmful to your device. 

If you are using the Galaxy Watch 6 series watch in South Korea, now you can install the latest update on your device by following these simple steps: open the Galaxy wearable application on the connected Android phone, then tap on Watch settings, then select watch software update. Here you will see the Download and install option; if it shows a new update available, then hit the download button.
