The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is a highly demanded smartphone on the market. It features a high-end camera arrangement, but despite that, an issue has been spotted: capturing dark photos in particular scenarios.

Samsung initially released its Galaxy S24 flagship series this year, and within a few days, the series broke the pre-order sale record of its predecessor series, the Galaxy S23. Undoubtedly, the Galaxy S24 Ultra features the most upgraded and premium camera feature ever in the Galaxy family. It features a 200MP wide, a 10MP tele, a 50MP tele, and a 12MP ultrawide camera setup.

Already out of the box, it is ready to deliver an excellent camera experience to the users, but to enhance the experience as a convenience, the giants took enough time to release the first update. The Korean giants took a long time to roll out the first update beyond expectations and then gradually rolled it out to all regions. The brand continues to release updates for the foreseeable future, specifically when there are issues that need to be fixed, out of which one has been spotted regarding cameras capturing dark photos in specific circumstances.

The giants assure us that soon the issue will be fixed through a software update. However, this issue occurs only when the users disturb some precise settings, and the camera will capture images that are a bit too dark. This happens while they lock the auto exposure between 1.6 to 1.9x and 4.6 to 9.9x zoom in the camera application and take a photo, and this leads to a darker photo being captured.

Meanwhile, this issue doesn’t seem like a major one since a vast range of users are not bothered by it. But as per convenience and to enhance the users’ capturing experience, Samsung has officially confirmed that they are actively gearing up for a fix for this issue, and soon a software update will be released to fix it.
