Galaxy S24 Camera Gets Major Boost as April Update Rolls Out to More Regions
Earlier today, Samsung rolled out the April 2024 security patch for the Galaxy S24 in South Korea. Now, gradually, the update has been spotted in multiple countries belonging to Europe, the Middle East, and the Indian Subcontinent.
Users who own the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra in the above-mentioned regions can identify the latest update by these firmware version numbers: S921BXXU1AXCA, S926BXXU1AXCA, and S928BXXU1AXCA,respectively.
With the April 2024 security patch update, there are some significant changes to the camera functionality. The official Samsung community moderator has shared more details below.
What new camera improvements arrived with the April 2024 patch?
- improving the accuracy of white balance and exposure in the camera
- improving the quality of images captured in low light conditions
- improving color accuracy in the Expert RAW application
- improving the clarity of text in high-quality shots
- support for videos with 480 × 480 pixel resolution in the Instant Slow Motion feature
Along with the camera improvements, the April 2024 patch will also bring new enhancements for the interan function, so the device will get fixes for the vulnerabilities. However, currently, the company doesn’t reveal the official details about the security patch.
