Shazam Getting New Major Update For WearOS Galaxy Watches

Shazam is receiving a major update for Wear OS-based smartwatches to offer an upgraded experience to users.
Shazam is a free app that recognizes music, TV shows, movies, and ads based on a short sample from the device’s microphone. It helps to recognize music on the radio or in a store, even with the headphones on. Now, for upgrading as well as enhancing users’ experiences, it is rolling out a new major update.
The latest Shazam update is only available for the Galaxy Watch 4 and newer watch owners. So the interested person can easily install the update to experience the upgraded version and recognize music playing around.

Previously, users needed to pair the Shazam app with the watch’s wireless range, but now, with this update, the Shazam app operates independently of the phone application. Also, before the update, it would start listening to music as soon as the user launched the app, but now they just have to click on the Shazam logo to start the music recognition process.
Now that it doesn’t ask for an internet connection, it can identify music when the watch is connected to the internet. It records the music that the user needs to be recognized and then analyzes it when the watch is connected to the internet. The identified songs are then instantly synced to all other devices wherever the Shazam app is logged in. While scrolling down the main screen within the app, it shows the list of the songs the user asked to be recognized earlier, and after recognizing the song, it offers title, album, and artist details.
Eligible users can now install the new version of Shazam from the Play Store on their phone or their Galaxy Watch.
