Samsung Deep Down Working On Two New FE Foldable Phones; As Spotted Screenshots Showing
It’s transparent; Samsung is gearing up to expand the foldable family by introducing next-generation foldables, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6. But deep down, it is also setting up for the affordable variants under the Fan Edition branding, named Galaxy Z Fold FE and Galaxy Z Flip FE.
Although reports for a long time say that Samsung is working on bringing affordable foldable phones, somehow the reports were regarding the new iteration of the of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 FE. Now two screenshots come into existence on ‘X’ that point towards Samsung developing a cheaper variant of its foldable devices.
Noticeably, since the spotted screenshots are not official, even though the source also doesn’t seem to have a spotless track record, and somewhere these screenshots raise some unusual doubts, this revelation is hard to believe, at least for now. Exploring further, these speculative Samsung foldable phones mentioned in the spotted screenshots are named ‘Galaxy Z Fold FE’ and ‘Galaxy Z Flip FE’
The FE appears to have 8GB of RAM, 256GB of internal storage, and probably a Snapdragon 7-series chip. Although, focusing on blurred screenshots, it appears that the phone is not powered by an Exynos 2200 or Exynos 2400 chipset, apart from both of these, another un-existing Exynos SoC that starts with ‘2’ is mentioned.
A post on X is also reporting that only one of these Fan Edition foldable phones will be released. At the moment, it is unclear exactly.
Since the brand has not revealed anything regarding these Fan Edition foldables officially yet, this leak, for now, is quite hard to believe, but it will be interesting to see whether this report will come true or not.
